<h2 style="white-space:pre-line">National Mourning in Memory of the Victims of the Beirut Port Explosion</h2>
<p>The President of the Council of Ministers of the Lebanese Republic has declared Tuesday, 4 August 2026, a day of national mourning to mark the anniversary of the Beirut Port explosion.</p>
<p>Public administrations, public institutions and municipalities will remain closed; flags will be flown at half-mast, and radio and television programming will be adjusted to reflect the solemnity of the occasion, in solidarity with the families of the victims, the injured and their families.</p>
