Ambassador Jazzar Welcomes a Delegation of Participants in the International Certification Program in Strategic Public Procurement

Within the framework of ongoing cooperation between Lebanon and the Italian Republic in the fields of governance and capacity-building in public procurement, H.E. Ambassador Carla Jazzar welcomed, at the Residence of the Embassy of Lebanon in Rome, the Lebanese participants in the “International Certification Program in Strategic Public Procurement,” organized in collaboration between the Basil Fuleihan Institute of Finance and Economy and the University of Tor Vergata in Rome.

The delegation included a group of high-level Lebanese professionals, including director-generals, officers from the Lebanese Army and security institutions, heads of departments, and officials from various ministries, public institutions, and municipalities. The study visit includes lectures, meetings, and visits to Italian entities specialized in public procurement.

Ambassador Jazzar highlighted during the meeting the importance of this cooperation in strengthening joint relations with the Italian Republic, developing public procurement systems in Lebanon, promoting transparency, and enhancing national capacities.
